Anurag Agarwal, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Anurag Agarwal, a facial plastic surgeon, is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He has been featured on ABC news, NBC news, FOX news, and Wink TV as a recognized expert on various topics within the field of facial plastic surgery. Dr. Agarwal was selected by his peers to serve as President of the Florida Society of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from 2011-2012. He was also chosen by Gulfshore Business magazine as one of Southwest Florida’s top 40 under 40 business leaders in September 2013. In September 2014, Dr. Agarwal was featured by Naples Illustrated magazine in their “Super Men” issue.
In 2016, Dr. Agarwal was honored at the annual American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive national meeting as the 5th recipient of the annual “Maintaining Excellence in ABFPRS Certification Award.” This award was given to Dr. Agarwal for earning the highest score in the United States on the oral and written portions of the 2016 American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS) Maintenance of Certification examination. From 2015 through 2022, Dr. Agarwal has been annually recognized as one of Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors in Florida. Naples Illustrated magazine also featured him as one of their “Top Doctors” from 2018 through 2021.
After completing his training in head and neck surgery, Dr. Agarwal pursued sub-specialty fellowship training exclusively in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. While in Atlanta completing his fellowship training, Dr. Agarwal also served as a clinical instructor at the Emory University School of Medicine. In September of 2005, Dr. Agarwal was recognized at the annual meeting of the AAFPRS for scholastic excellence on the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS) examination. In September 2020, he was elected to a prestigious 6 year term as a member of the ABFPRS Board of Directors.
